Hello there!
I grew up in Lincoln, NE with my parents and older sister. I wanted to stay close to home so I completed my undergraduate schooling at Nebraska Wesleyan University graduating with my focus being in Exercise Science and Chemistry. I then moved to Davenport, IA for four years while I completed my graduate schooling at Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning my doctorate in chiropractic healthcare in 2022. I knew I was going to come back to Lincoln to be close with my family once I graduated. I was blessed to have two amazing chiropractic mentors in Lincoln, Dr. Lori Elliott and Dr. Denneal Stauffer who helped me to decide to open my own practice in April of 2022.
Growing up, my sister and I participated in several athletics - basketball, volleyball, show-choir, and many more - so I understand the importance of remaining active and keeping your body healthy and functioning at optimal levels. In my office, I see a variety of patients from infants and pregnant mothers, to athletes and even geriatrics as well.
During my time studying, I connected with the philosophy that chiropractic affects both the soft tissues and hard tissues of the body. I took extra coursework in soft tissue therapy and muscle rehabilitation, and received certifications in Activator Methods and Logan Basic techniques. I offer a wide variety of adjusting styles ranging from the Palmer package which includes Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drops, and Toggle, as well as Logan Basic, Activator Methods, Extremity, and AK Cranial work. I also offer several soft tissue therapy options - myofascial release via scraping, cupping, trigger point work, STIM, and ultrasound therapy.
I am licensed in VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation animal adjusting technique) so that I can adjust and perform soft tissue aid in equine, cattle, dogs, cats, and more as animals need chiropractic just as much as humans do.
